4th Annual "4 Way Test" Speech Contest
Our 4th annual "4 Way Test" public speaking contest involved the 6 Chandler Unified School District High Schools. Each school had a student representative that competed and they were all excellent speakers who each was allowed 5 to 7 minutes to present their practical application and examples of the 4 Way Test. They were judged on Content, Organization, Delivery and Length of Time to present their view. They were selected in order of a hat drawing...
The High School and Student: Basha HS, Seth Wuthrich; Perry HS, Joanna Gunaraj; Casteel HS, Carly Stewart; Arizona College Prep, Will Osborn; Hamilton HS, Saahil Poonawala; and Chandler HS, Jaidyn Snitker.
The winner was from Hamilton HS, Saahil Poonawala. He received a Certificate of Recognition and $100 from Club President, Bill McCoach. The other 5 were each presented $50. Additionally, all were presented with a 4 Way Test Desk Paperweight as a reminder of their participation.
The 90 strong club membership and guests gave a standing ovation in recognition of their outstanding efforts. We are very proud of our continued support and relationship with the Chandler Unified School District and other schools in the community.
