Don Bell - Good Guy Award
A few years ago we enjoyed the membership of John McCain before he passed away. John served in Air Force during WWII and was a POW in Germany. To the membership and his friends and neighbors, John became known as the “Good Guy” who always had a smile, tell a good joke and provide a positive outlook. Don has chaired the Charity Golf Tournament over the past few years which is the clubs major fundraiser and each year (now 24th year) it keeps getting bigger and bigger and under his leadership we enjoyed are biggest year yet in terms of participation and dollars raised. It takes months of planning and making sure that all the members are involved to make it a success. Don does this with a smile, positive comments and making it fun and not work to have the success that we enjoy.
Dee Rasmussen received this recognition last year and it is the custom for last year’s recipient to present the “Good Guy” trophy to the newly recognized. Congratulations Don.
