Yesterday, May 27th the Rotary world lost a great leader from Mexico, with the death of Past 2000-01 Rotary International President, Frank Devlyn. One of the most positive and outstanding speakers who was everybody’s friend. Gary Whiting was honored to be the Sun Lakes Rotary Club President that year and he still remembers being on stage at the Rotary International Convention in San Antonio, Texas
where 50 Club Presidents from around the world were presented the 21st Century Award in recognition for their Rotary Club achievements by RI President, Frank. He wrote two books “Frank Talk” and “Frank Talk II” which all Rotarians are encouraged to read as he really demonstrates on how YOU can make a difference in your career, community and the world through Rotary. A big loss to family and the Rotary world.
