Sun Lakes Rotarian, Dwight Snyder suggested that the Sun Lakes community might be well served if we could place an outdoor seating area at the East entrance of the Centum Health Building located at the NE corner of Riggs Rd and Alma School. His idea made sense, so our

Club Rotary Foundation Committee Chair, Peter Meade applied for a District Grant from our Rotary District 5495 for the purpose of in-stalling some benches.

Once we received notice that the grant had been approved, Peter met with Tami Conradson from Centum Health Properties. She agreed that it was needed but that there wasn't a real budget set up for it but Centum match our funding dollar for dollar as a community partner in making a good thing happen. Six weeks later we had the dedication of two 8ft long benches and a round picnic table with recognition on the benches that the Sun Lakes Rotary Club helped to make it happen. On Tuesday, August 20th, Rotarians went to the Centum Health Building to celebrate the successful unveiling along with Tami Conradson and members of her staff.
