Welcome to the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes, Arizona

Sun Lakes Rotary Club (Chartered April 22, 1986) is a leadership organization made up of men and women from local businesses, professional, education, civic and emerging leaders.  We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and through that we’re able to get things done in our greater Sun Lakes community.  Come join us and share our passion for community service and friendship.

Our Sun Lakes Rotary Club's 90 plus members embrace Rotary International's Vision “Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our own communities and in ourselves”.  Our members are working and retired men and women of action from the Sun Lakes and Chandler communities who are committed to service in our own communities, communities around the world, and especially projects and programs that support our youth and education.  We WELCOME you to one of our weekly meetings where you will have the opportunity to meet our members, join in on the fun, and get to know Rotary and what we are doing. We meet on time, we eat on time, we have a good time.

Our club held its first Go-T0-Meeting via the internet using Zoom.  Out of 90 members, we had over 30 that participated.  Club President, Bill Crump assisted by Val Crump led us through the start-up directions and everyone seemed to get the hang of it.  Meeting lasted about 30 minutes and it was decided to do the next two April meeting on the internet as well.  Yes, we all had some FUN doing it.

We are sorry to inform you that our weekly "face to face" meetings have been cancelled until further notice because of the challenge with the Coronavirus and the velocity of its contagion and the risk that it purposes. This is obviously a painful and difficult decision as Rotary is grounded in fellowship, but we are also based on looking out for the good of our communities. Thus, temporarily avoiding contact that could provide an avenue for the spread of the virus and adhering to hygiene protocol in all other situations will help end the risk.  Together we can see an end to this virus and protecting not only our fellow Rotary members, but those in our community and health care professionals.

"Women who engage in Rotary projects are not only changing the world and making a difference in lives, they're changing themselves" - Stephanie A. Urchick, Rotary International Director
